Aprima Medical Software Selects Chartspan Medical Technologies as Chronic Care Management Partner

Press Releases Aprima, Health, Medical, Software

Greenville, South Carolina (February 15, 2018) – One of the nation’s leading EHR, PM and RCM providers, Aprima® Medical Software, has selected ChartSpan Medical Technologies as one of its primary Chronic Care Management (CCM) partners.

ChartSpan provides turn-key, managed care coordination services to health systems and ambulatory practices throughout the United States. As reimbursements for doctors change from volume to value-based, healthcare providers use ChartSpan’s fully managed service platform of clinicians and technology to provide healthcare services to their patients, when the patient is not in the physician’s office.

ChartSpan’s CCM clients also receive MIPS compliance services at no additional cost. ChartSpan customers achieved a 90.2% MIPS composite score average in 2017, qualifying them for reimbursement increases and bonus pool funding.

“We are thrilled to have ChartSpan as our new CCM business partner. We chose ChartSpan because they make it very easy for patients to enroll and for our providers to track quality and measure performance,” according to David Shaw, VP of partners and channel sales at Aprima. “We expect that our providers will find that ChartSpan is helping them to better manage CCM.”

In addition, ChartSpan is already successfully working with several Aprima customers and the ChartSpan and Aprima software platforms will be integrated, allowing Aprima clients the ability to utilize ChartSpan’s CCM services without having to pay any integration costs. “This was very important for us. By investing in this integration, it allows Aprima users the ability to access ChartSpan’s many product features, such as our proprietary rapid-bill technology right out of the box,” said Shane Grivich, EVP channel partner sales at ChartSpan.

Tight integration allows patient CCM care plans to be viewed within the patient’s chart. This ensures providers get the benefit of the most up to date information about their patients, without having to leave their EHR.
